If you cannot work because of a physical or mental disability, or if you have a child with disabilities, you or your child may be eligible for cash benefits from the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) programs. CLSACC can help you:

• CLSACC assists people with disabilities in gaining access to illegally or wrongfully denied SSI and SSDI benefits.
• In addition to a monthly cash grant, eligibility for these programs provides access to MassHealth or Medicare, and priority on housing waiting lists. These are safety net programs that provide a stable income for an individual or family.
• CLSACC also works with individuals currently on benefits who have work related overpayments.
